Programmable Logic Controller (10 day industry training course)
10 day intensive course for the manufacturing engineering industry
Candidates will develop the fundamental knowledge to allow them to perform routine lineside PLC operations. They will be able to programme, fault find, diagnose & rectify technical issues on a selection of common PLC platforms using basic and advanced features.
Practical and simulation will be carried out using Siemens Simatic S7-1200 PLC’s and TIA, Mitsubishi GX Works and GX Developer, Allen-Bradley simulation, Rockwell RSLogix 500 simulation.
The course will run through the basic and advanced features of current PLC products. Candidates will be given a broad range of practical exercises to solve using a range of bespoke training equipment and will also be introduced to HMI software and communication protocols.
Candidates will have hands on practical training with Siemens Simatic S7-1200 PLC's to control electro-pneumatic apparatus. The bespoke equipment is also networked with Siemens HMI's and time will be spent developing HMI screens and downloading using Siemens TIA with Winn CC.
An understanding of basic PLC's, electrical principles and number bases would be advantageous but not essential.
The next pre-planned delivery commences 17th October 2016 and again on 27th March 2017, in a two week full time block.
However this course can be arranged on demand on a bespoke delivery model should a group of 5 (minimum) be available to attend.
The fee for Programmable Logic Controller - 10 day training is £1725 per person including all course materials.
