Students Take On Coaching Role

A group of students from TyneMet are using their sports coaching skills to help improve health, fitness and sporting ability in the community.

They'll be taking time out from their studies to become part of the team at Newcastle United Foundation.

Sarah Lowden, Claire Pitt, Joe Danquah and Celso Anjos, all aged 18, are studying on a Sport Development, Coaching and Fitness course.

For six weeks, they'll be combining their studies with voluntary work for the Foundation.
