What to expect?
Our women’s football academy is delivered in partnership with Newcastle United Foundation. You’ll progress as a player by working with our experienced coaching team and develop industry-specific skills.
Off the pitch, our academic expertise means you’ll study A levels or vocational subjects, with training slots built in.
BEING PART OF OUR WOMEN’S FOOTBALL ACADEMY, YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Represent Newcastle United Foundation in the National Football Youth League
- Receive up to 10 hours training each week in superb, purpose-built facilities at Newcastle Universities’ Cochrane Park
- Compete in regional and national competitions against the best in the country
- Play abroad in countries such as USA and Portugal
- Have individually tailored strength and conditioning programmes, as well as use our state-of-the-art sports science lab
- Develop your skills with sport-specific expert workshops in areas such as sports psychology, performance analysis and nutrition
- Gain football-specific coaching and officiating qualifications, and enhance your CV through vocational opportunities in our leadership academy
- Access a physiotherapy clinic for injury treatment
- Progress further in your career through our links with various clubs and teams in the local area
